It may simply be that a small contingent of ‘progressives’ – are simply never gonna’ get it.
So we’ll have to get it for them.
Take for example, Daily Kos’ recent rendering of the contemporary Florida electoral scene. Many dedicated people are working very hard to make progressive politics a reality in the Florida milieu. Some you may know of, and some may be new to you. They all deserve to be recognized for the progressive electoral work that they do. Especially, when they are offering their time and effort as a congressional candidate.
Daliy Kos’ ‘cheat sheet’ is – well, just that: a list that cheats progressives by excluding many candidates that are running in the current Florida races.
What to do? Correct it, particularly by highlighting some progressive Democrats, which Daily Kos excluded from the “Who is Running” column of their list:

So what is Daily Kos’ problem? Who knows? But one thing is clear, until so-called ‘progressives’ actually embrace progressive candidates and policies, rather then making Beltway ass-kissing a way of life – no one’s ever gonna’ get it. Progressive legislation, that is.
